Apple is working on new build of iOS 9.3 for older devices iPhone 4s, 5, 5c, 5s iPad 3, 4, mini, mini 2, Air and iPod touch 5G
The new modified build of iOS 9.3 for older Apple’s devices is coming soon to compensate for a significant activation issue.
Apple has recently released a modified iOS 9.3 build 13E236 special for iPad 2 that has proved to work properly.
The following older Apple devices are waiting for the same modified iOS 9.3 to be updated & activated:
- iPhone 4s.
- iPhone 5/5c/5S.
- iPad 2/3/4.
- iPad Air.
- iPad mini, iPad mini 2.
- iPod touch 5G.
iOS 9.3 software update is not available for all the devices mentioned above, iOS 9.2.1 is still the only possible software to use. Apple has temporarily pulled back iOS 9.3 for them. The new iOS 9.3 will be available from day to day.
Please don’t try to download iOS 9.3 for your device manually because of restoring on this Apple software update will cause the activation error.
The activation issue is still tense thus, keep calm and follow updating details. If you are an owner of one of the listed above devices you will have to install update via iTunes only. So make sure that you use the latest version of iTunes software on you PC or Mac. And never perform update of your iDevice without having a data backup on that device first.
